But the reality is murkier than ever, as only three out of ten plastic bottles are actually recycled. Another attempt with the sale of glass bottles of water, then? Unfortunately, that's not a perfect solution either, as glass is not only heavier to transport, but washing it requires water and energy. Moreover, melting down disposable glass (at a staggering 1400 degrees!) scores poorly on environmental reports.

The Source of the Paveau Story
The seed of the Paveau story was planted when founder Isabelle spent some time living in Australia. There, she first encountered water scarcity and discovered how carefully and consciously every drop was used. Every drop counts—this became an important foundation for our growing company and the basis of the sustainable philosophy we uphold today: water doesn’t need to be packaged, labeled, transported, and sold. It flows from the tap every day, and we should cherish it in a conscious way. Without creating waste. Without negatively impacting our environment.
