Treasure our tap water
There are about 150 million tons of non-degradable plastic floating in our oceans. The answer to that seemed so obvious: recyclable plastic should pollute our waters less. But the reality is murkier than ever, as only three out of ten plastic bottles are actually recycled. Moreover, the CO2 emissions from bottled water are significant: up to a thousand times more than tap water.
Did you know that it takes three to six liters of water to produce just one liter of water in a plastic bottle?

The source of the Paveau story
When Paveau founder Isabelle lived in Australia for a while, the seed of the Paveau story was planted. There, she first encountered water scarcity and discovered how sparingly and consciously every drop was used. Every drop counts—this became a key foundation for our growing company and the basis of the sustainable philosophy we promote today: water doesn’t need to be packaged, labeled, transported, and sold. It flows from the tap every day, and we need to cherish it in a conscious way—without creating waste and without a negative impact on our environment.
